In appreciation of her dedication and for volunteering her time to our Chapter, Lynne is our October Volunteer of the Month.
       Lynne is the President of Nordone Meetings & Events in Merrick. Lynne has been an active member of the Social Committee working to help make all our wonderful social events a success in 2007 and is now stepping up as our new Social Chair for 2008.
       In recognition of her volunteerism, Lynne has won a $25 voucher good toward a future EWGALI social event, golf outing or clinic.

       Jo Ellen is the Director of Patient & Community Relations for Plainview Hospital, North Shore-LIJ Health System. We have been fortunate to have Jo Ellen as a volunteer on both the Rules & Handicap Committee and the League Committee this year and applaud her commitment to the success of our Chapter.

        In appreciation of her dedication and for volunteering her time to our Chapter, Doreen is our August Volunteer of the Month.
        Doreen is a founding member of the Long Island Chapter and has been an active volunteer since she joined. One of the original volunteers for both the League and Events Committees, Doreen continues to help on our Events Committee. Doreen is there to greet you at registration, sell you raffles and mulligans and make everyone feel welcome. Doreen runs a personalized beauty business in the North Shore area and will come to your home to give you a private manicure, pedicure or haircut.
        In recognition of her service to us all Doreen has won a $25 voucher good toward a future EWGALI social event, golf outing or clinic.

     We congratulate Jane Firenze on her selection as our July Volunteer of the Month. A retired teacher in the Half Hollow Hills School District, Jane now volunteers her time on the Rules & Handicap and Membership Committees. Her dedication and enthusiasm go a long way in helping out EWGALI.

     Terry Wolters volunteers on the Leagues Committee as the tee time coordinator for the Eisenhower and Oyster Bay Leagues. Every week from May through September, she processes hundreds of email requests (and cancellations) for league tee times. She is another one of our wonderful, behind-the-scenes, volunteers that gets the job done and enables this chapter to service our membership.
     In her professional life, Terry is a Vice President at Garnet Management Company, Inc.

      We recognize Sue Foehrenbach as the May Volunteer of the Month. Sue has been a member of EWGA since 2002 and currently is a volunteer on the Golf Events Committee. She helps Janet Mallon put together all the spectacular outings for our chapter.
      When she's not volunteering for EWGA, Sue is a Senior Accountant at Raphael P. Greenspan, CPA PC in Syosset.

      Ellen Toritto is our April Volunteer of the Month for her dedication and volunteering of her time to our Chapter.
      Ellen is a Manager of Financial Systems for First Data Corporation. Her busy schedule takes her frequently to Canada and Latin America and yet she still manages to devote time to our chapter.  In addition to being a past Board member, Rules & Handicap Chair 2006, Ellen continues to contribute her time to EWGALI by assisting the Membership Committee with her expertise in data management.

      In appreciation of her dedication and for volunteering her time to our Chapter, Linda Foy is our March Volunteer of the Month.
      Linda is Risk Control Coordinator, Hospitals and Special Programs, with Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers. Previously, she was Assistant Vice President for Regulatory Affairs & Risk Management at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown.
      Linda, who plays in the Travel League on Sundays, has generously contributed her time to EWGALI by volunteering on the League Committee.
