Margaret Ochotorena, RN Is Honored with
Managerial Spirit Award at St. Francis Hospital

EWGA Member Margaret Ochotorena enjoys golf and her job at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY. Margaret was presented with the Hospital’s Managerial Spirit Award for her contributions as the Director of Patient Relations, and for having administrative responsibility for critical care and clinical units. In addition, she has been a very big part of the successful Magnet process for St. Francis Hospital and co-chairs the Patient Satisfaction Committee. Although Margaret has such a variety of responsibilities, she always takes the time to visit with patients and their families and to work with the staff to guide and educate them to ensure their success.

Margaret exemplifies the Mission of St. Francis as she continually maintains that the patients and their needs are the main focus of her work. Her peers noted that she is very dedicated, approachable, professional and personable, an exemplary nurse and manager who is so deserving of this special recognition.
