2009 League Champoinship Results

LEAGUE MESSAGE-WINTER 2009/2010

Attention All League & Potential League Members:
This past season was an exciting one for the EWGA Long Island Chapter Leagues. We had an unbelievable 787 "League Members," with approximately 400 of those members golfing each week. We ran 12 leagues for 20 weeks beginning the first week of May through the middle of September, with the Travel League enjoying some fabulous fall golf into October.
Our End of League Dinner was a huge success with many awards distributed, all proudly displaying our “10th Anniversary” logo. For those winners who were unable to attend the festivities, I would love to make arrangements for you to collect your trophy, so please contact me. I will bring them to the Tee Off Dinner, if prior arrangements are not possible. You may look league page on this website to see if you have won a trophy.
I know some of you are anxious to learn all you can about this fabulous organization, so take some time to check out all the information posted on our website. You can look at the league activities, outings and events that occurred in 2000 for a glimpse into some of the fun enjoyed by all last season. I will be posting very detailed information regarding all the leagues being offered in 2010 by the end of February, which will give you plenty of time to decide which league(s) you’d like to join.
The date for our Tee-Off Dinner is scheduled for March 16th, so please keep checking the website for details as to time and location. That night is your first opportunity to join League(s), along with an opportunity to rekindle friendships and find out about all the wonderful events we have planned for you in 2010.
Remember one very important thing--you must be a member of our national organization "EWGA" to participate in any of our events, leagues, etc. Now is the time to make sure you are up to date with your annual dues by going to EWGA.com and contacting membership to either join or renew your membership.
